A suit that was never anyone else's
A bespoke suit begins with a blank sheet of pattern paper. We take your measurements by hand, note how you stand and how you carry your shoulders, and draw the pattern for you alone. The cloth is cut from that pattern, the jacket is made up by hand, and you try it on before it is finished.
The Italian cut is lighter than the English one: a softer shoulder, a cleaner chest, a jacket you forget you are wearing in Mumbai's heat. That is the house style, and it is the starting point for the conversation, not the end of it.
Three-piece, when the occasion asks for it
A waistcoat changes a suit. It lets a quiet cloth carry colour, as the slate-blue check with the mustard waistcoat in our photographs does. For a wedding or a reception it gives you something to wear when the jacket comes off.

Cloth
Worsted wool, flannel, linen, cotton. We tell you what each one does in the heat and in a photograph.
Lapel
Notch or peak, the width and the gorge height drawn to your frame.
Buttons and pockets
Two or three buttons, flap or jetted pockets, a ticket pocket if you want one.
Trousers
Flat front or pleated, the rise and the break set on you at the fitting.

How much does a bespoke suit cost?
The price depends on the cloth and the work in it. We quote at the consultation, once you have chosen the cloth, and the price does not move after that.
How long does a bespoke suit take?
We give you a date at the first meeting. Tell us the occasion first; a wedding date decides the schedule.
Do you make suits for weddings?
Yes. Three-piece suits and dinner jackets for the groom and the family, in a cloth and colour that suits the ceremony and the venue.
Can I bring my own cloth?
Bring it to the consultation and we will tell you honestly whether it will make up well.
